The Z4 requires the ESL Daughter board installed into the ecu to enable mapping at a cost of 550 quid.

Are these esl boards any good as im after upping power end of year to around tge 400 mark . I assumed my only option and safest was to run it through a simtek. You any other info on these boards andy like a link to him or something

Drew sure someone else will know better than me but think you are only restricted by the mods you fit. The ESL allows live mapping as do others.

yeah mate i know about the mods bud ill be using bigger injectors different turbo ect. stronger pistons and all supporting mods to gain the power then will be needing it mapped to suit. i was going to run it all through a simtek but im open to other options and wouldnt mind knowing the pros and cons of the different routes i can take
