Subject: Whats the max bhp for sti pink injectors Thu 17 May - 22:45
As above I'm thinking about making a TD05 18g turbo using jonny gavs excellent guide thread I read today..You guys are a bad influence lol.. I have the following mods done already Walbro 225 fuel pump Decat downpipe 3inch exhaust Apexi induction kit and Ecutek mapped ecu Would like to get some ported headers from Finn and fit a TD05 18g or 20g then get it mapped to someware in the region of 380 BHP. Would the standard STi injectors cope with this or would I need to upgrade them. Also would like to know what cc my existing injectors are and what I would need to upgrade them too if needs be..

If you check in technicle section theres a guide to injector colours mate

I think you would need bigger injectors 650 or 740's maybe. I managed 365bhp on motoscope rollers out of my 550's and I think they were at something like 98% duty!

hawkeye wrx injectors are the cheapest way too handle 400bhp
i paid £130 for the ones a fitted to my car...

but newage sti pink injectors arent actually 550cc..
they are 503cc ..
hawkeye wrx blue injectors are 565cc

Yea I thought something wasn't quite right as I thought they were 550s but have seen people upgrading to bigger ones to get over 350BHP.. Thanks Finn I will be on the lookout for hawkeye wrx injectors in the next few weeks..

my hawkeye ran 410hp at 96% duty on its standard injectors which are the blue 565cc.

I got mine for £80 about two years ago - they were taken out of a hawkeye WRX to fit STi pinks.......

I got mine for £80 about two years ago - they were taken out of a hawkeye WRX to fit STi pinks.......
Hopefully I can find someone who wants to give me some cash to swap for my pinks lol...
