Subject: Machining Alloy??
Sun 30 May - 23:33
Does anybody on here work for a company that could cut me a flat chassis, for an rc car out of 4mm 6061 T6 aluminium,
I would supply you with a template or drawings whichever is easier.
Or does anyone know a company who could do it,
Thanks
Peter

Ask Kindon, his mate has just made some S/S bits for a scooby engine bay to see what its like and maybe make them to sell on. Give him a bell Peter

Can only do upto 2mm at work so 4mm is a no go, any CNC shop will have no bother doing that for you.
It won't be cheap though but for things like that we use a company called kasl engineering near the mcewens centre in Rainton bridge.
They will be able to do it no bother.
why not get it made from titanium?
