| Bike stolen from Dunston, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear at 2:20AM Tuesday 29th May morning. I have it all on CCTV with good images of one of the theives. I'm not made of money and this is such a big loss to me that's why I'm willing to go into debt to offer a reward of £1000 for the safe return of my bike along with a name of one of the robbers. £1,000 is more than the bike's worth to them by a long shot! The robbers could live in Newcastle as they tried to nick it first at 1:38 then realised it was chained with an Abus Citadel chain and lock so came back at 2:20 with massive industrial cutters. I can't describe how gutted I am. I would have preferred them to nick my Scooby - that's worth less and insured fully comp! All my spare time and money was going on this bike, I've been out on it at least twice a week and I only bought it in March. I'm not insured and I'm offering a significant cash reward for the safe return of my bike, £1000 if i can get the name of the people who stole it too. Reg WK03 BWE KTM EXC 250 Racing 2003 (4 stroke) I'll put pics up but I have been installing new parts since I bought it so the most up to date pic is the one of me in mid air. Bash plate on the bottom, Red and black zip bag bolted to the rear fender, black hand guards, nice new bolts without washers hold the chain guard on, no foot for the side stand and gears of war sticker above the front lights. Brand new rear tyre - Mitas C02. I know things may get removed or added but that's the identifiable features when it was stolen. Frame Number: VBKRCA4033M135743 Engine Number: 3 - 598*50238* I may have one number wrong on the engine number as it's not that clear. Someone's called and told me they MAY have seen it in Chopwell but this may not be reliable. | hate people like that!!
they must live within 20 mins of your house mate,if they had a vehicle they would have not took 20 mins to get some bolt cutters and also must have seen it there before
also can the police not get fingerprints as the one on the left picks up the stand and the one on the right picks up the plank of wood?

| Looks like they had gloves on when they returned. They must be local lads so I would hang around the local offy/Chav spots they probably wear them same clothes for work/play and court appearancees!!
You'll see them kicking about over the next week or so.

| Cheers for the support. I got a phone call with 2 names. The guys were arrested but let off cos they weren't in possession of the bike at the time. I've heard the bike's in Clasper Village, The Teams but I've been round there a lot asking and no1s seen anything, although they r probs lying. | |

| Hopefully someone will come out the woodwork and you can get the thieving t**ts.
How could the police let them go if they have photographic evidence that they nicked it - just 'cos they've moved it on, doesn't mean they didn't nick it - it's a joke. |

| Hope you get your bike back soon, hate thieving scum like that, I'm No expert but I thought it would of took more time than that to cut a decent chain off, I'm shocked at how quick they cut it off, did the police say that the video footage was good evidence or not. | |

| Cheers Daz but mine is a 250 with off-road tyres. Wouldn't be able to wheelie at anything like that speed. Top speed on the bike's about 70mph.
The police have said the CCTV will be very good for catching them but you can't prosecute on that evidence alone. I need someone who knows them to grass them really... or for my bike to be returned with prints

| Can't prosecute on video evidence that clearly shows them taking the bike, why do we bother having the police, you can't get caught red handed better than that. | |
