Subject: How to find out Fri 8 Jun - 19:23
When I bought my latest impreza the garage I bought it from did not know that much about it, it has some paperwork and receipts in a folder for some of the modified bits, there is nothing to say wether the car has been mapped or not, I just presume it has because it has been fully de-catted and has a k&n appollo induction kit, what would be the best way to find out if it has been mapped, who buy and what software was used either open source or ecutek.

We're in the same boat and drew said to email Duncan or Andy Forrest to see how much it'd be to have a look to see - we also know that the lad we bought it off fitted the full decat system after the map as he said hed never mapped it - so we really need it mapped now that's there

Stevie this might be a bit of help or not, I would contact all known mapper with the registration of the car and the previous owners name if you have or can get it, the v9 Gavs got was mapped at as performance that's all we knew, but I managed to track the car down and sourced that it had been mapped by Andrew Carr as he keeps a record of every car he has done on files I'm presuming most other mapper would do this
