I have been thinking shall I get a front mount or not.
Can you run standard with a front mount or will it have to be mapped? and are they easy to fit or would it be better getting it fitted by a pro?

You gotta think all the extra pipe work that comes with the intercooler has to be filled with air so the turbo needs to work harder

A bigger turbo would only create more lag. The bigger the turbo the more laggy it is. If you just want a front mount for looks don't plumb it up

Anyone who is considering a front mount with no pipework, just for looks might want to consider buying some of my 19inch cardboard double sided sticky tape lightened alloy wheels...only £49.99 for a set of 4...
You can colour then in any colour you like...!

Fitting a front mount intercooler just for the look is not as un common as you may think. There is loads of young lads driving thier corsas and saxos round my way with front mount intercoolers hanging out thier front bumpers and not even have a turbo.
Not so many with 19inch cardboard wheels however.. Maybe you could start a new craze who knows....
