Subject: cam damage opinions. Sun 8 Jul - 14:02
Have a chance of some sti v3/4 heads but one of the cam guides has been broken. The seller has been open & explained the damage before i part with any money. Would this affect the function of the cam, its the LH Exhaust cam.

If it was me I would ask him to send you it then and check it with ya faro arm mate, if it checks out straight then go for it.

Not sure if ide be keen either pushing more bhp and that than befor could do some damage if it went tits up

Deicided to pass on them, not worth the risk, as the lad selling was unsure when the damage occured. Another sets turned up at the same price so fingers crossed i'll be sorted soon.
