Hi, bit new to this I've had a bug eye sti for around 2 months and recently bought a blitz dump valve for it, and the car only seems to be "dumping off" every now and again? Seems more like it is chattering through the air filter? As I say it new to me and am pretty confused with it? Any help will be very much appreciated

If you read the original post he states he actually has a BLITZ valve. The blitz dump valve has two optional springs, one hard and one soft. If its second hand, the previous owner may have swaped it for the hard spring.
The soft version is for boost lower than 1.2 Blitz part number 70995A
and the hard version for boost over 1.2 Blitz part number 70997A

Every blitz dump valve I have seen leaks, this causes running issues, agree with Natski, it sounds like its very tight so chattering rather than dumping. It's not an issue and isn't going to damage your car.
