| Thinking about gettin the bonnet and scoop repainted on the the car, my question is, is it possible to get the bonnet and scoop wrapped in clear or see through material??? Thinking more along the lines of defending the paint from stone chips | |

Yes it's popular here in Thailand too, especially for front bumper/grille/bonnet.

What panels are you getting a quote for Bonnet, front bumper + front wings......I figured thats where I have the most paint missing. Unlikely I'd go for it, but thought it would be an interesting benchmark for folks to understand. Perhaps Deano could give us a ball park figure for a Classic and a Newage while I'm waiting for these guys to come back.

| The nice chap from Bodyguard UK called me this afternoon to discuss my enquiry for Venture Shield paintwork protection. He called himself Richard for the purpose of our phone call.
The std kit for a Blobeye is supplied and fitted (by experts none the less) at £399
It includes the front 1/3 of the bonnet, front section of front wings, full front bumper, headlights, fogs and the wing mirrors. Optional extras are available such as full bonnet, roof etc. He offered to throw in a rear bumper gaurd for free if I signed up there and then.
I politely declined, thanked him for his time and said I'd keep his details on file for future reference.
In the keen spirit of sharing I post it here for you all to consume.

| F**k me, if that was for the full front end I might of considered it, but for a third of the bonnet and wings your having a laugh. I wound how it is for just the bumper.
Keith have you got the contact details.
