Subject: if i take my bov off will it affect the map Thu 2 Aug - 20:31
hi just wondered as i wanted to keep my aftermarket bov, so if i put the standard re sirc back on would it affect my map, also my bov was previously fitted to a hawk 2.5 so would it fit a hatch sti thanks lian

there's no difference between the newage dump valves, it won't affect the map, most cars run better with the standard BOV than an after market.
I am pritty sure a hawk bov will fit a hatch, it looks the same.

so i can take it off and put resirc back on, cool as i want to keep my gfb 1 for when we get a hatch i like the sound of it,thanks iddy

yes take it off and put the standard one on, leave the standard one on the hatch don't put a aftermarket one on.

i like the noise though its a resic and blow off does both

Stick with whats best for the car and if you must have the noise go and get this
