Subject: using a litre of oil a week Mon 17 Sep - 17:30
i have a 1999 impreza turbo and its using aprox 1 litre of oil per week. There no leaks or oil in coolant, runs sweet no noises or anything. When at boost puts black smoke out but only at high revs..... any ideas...cheers

Speak to drew johnny or andy k befor you start slashing out. Johnny gav rebuilds turbos and hes quite good priced too . Ive heard of the same symtoms your getting being turbos but not 110% its your problem just a possible

Does it smoke on start up or just big boost ? Warm or cold when smoking or all time ?

Pop in to see Andy or Drew, they will be able to give you a better idea of the root cause of the problem, its a problem that you need the car in front of you to give you an idea.
