well after realising that after a week my car is running like a bag of shit an only doin 11mpg i decided to do some investigating into some of the work done to car ie who mapped it i came across a receipt for nearly 600 quid by a company called dyno demon with a performance gain of 18.5bhp (301 to 319.5) to me that is shocking an even worse to the way its running.i also came across this thread an all mine running same as this.

http://bbs.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-general-1/715683-want-to-lose-bhp-take-ya-scooby-to-dyno-demon-on-the-wirrel.html

an to top things off ive spent everything i had on getting this car an now am skint so cant get one of the top boys to map it an sort it out so my question is will the car be safe to drive until i can save up for mapping it or is there a risk of serious damage to the engine sorry for the rant at this time of night but its been doin me head in.

Don't believe everything you read online.

Get the car checked by a reputable tuner locally and start there.

Most likely something very obvious to a scooby regular, but not to you.

Good luck.

A remap should cost ya around £300 Sad if that's what the issue is.. As nyscooby says don't believe everything you read online, especially on scoobynet. Gutted for ya m8 there's nothing worse than buying a new car only to find out something ain't right after just a week. Hope ya can get it sorted out asap..
