| i will get some photos tomorrow of the opencast i work at we lost 3 water pumps that pump 24/7 to keep water out bottom they are now under water it rised 3 meters overnight | |

| My mate lives in Mill Vale just beside those flats - he was evacuated by the Fuzz this morning ! |

| It's only a wee river and it is called the River Blyth in fact! I am at the top end on a hill mate all safe and free from flooding....at the minute anyway! |

| had the same problem bud! i left darlo at half 3 and got to yarm at half 5! i took that pic this morning so god knows wat its lyk now but cant see to clearing by the morning | |

| me mates totally mint 555 flooded last nite unsure ov how much water it had inside ? but do no that fire service pumped water out but cup holder in centre console was filled too the brim av just took the 2 month old simtek out ov its case and now in airing cupboard fingers crossed its ok ????? its a shame as its a high spec classic= 6 speed brembos all round newage trim brand new respray new wheels etc etc was in water for at least 3 hours | |

| I saw a car parked in Newcastle with only its roof showing. Couldn't even make out what model it was. That one will be well goosed!
There was a woman standing nearby looking at the flood water pass through homes and businesses in tears. Brought it home how personally devastating it can be.
