buying a jump starter for the cold weather.Is 400 amps enough to start a 1999 forester with a flat battery,or do i need a stronger one.Regards.Rufusbarry

Is the battery goosed ? We Can leave ours for 2weeks & fires no bother.

Also, remember is may not fully recover if its that dead and may require a proper charge and test rather than a boost start.
