| looks like a nice clean car with very low miles, its about £1000 overpriced but that is to be expected buying from a dealer. Gets my thumbs up, not everyone wants an sti ya know

| A quick look on auto trader shows its there or thereabouts money wise (age, mileage, dealer etc). As for sti/wrx, that's your choice, love my sti hawk to bits, but in some respects I also miss my old bugeye wrx! Choice is yours. Regards Rick | |

| finance company said it has to be on a 55 plate or over more than 5 grand and have less than 70k on the clock so i would be very lucky to get an sti for aroung 7.5 grand | |

| If finances don't quite allow at the moment, you can upgrade as & when funds allow, I do believe though that if you want the extra power & handling & all the rest that comes with an sti, then yes, it's better to buy an sti in the first place. But do factor in running costs & insurance & stiff suspension! Regards Rick | |

| dont do it mate, if your in 2 minds about it its not the one you want. i went down the wrx route and wasted my time, everything about the sti makes it a better car mechanically, and worth more at the other end | |

| I thought the tax changed for 2006? I must agree with gaz that if you are in 2 minds then I'd hold on as you may regret it. If you get it then decide you want an sti you may lose money straight away and not be totally happy | |

| Tax bands changed on 23 march 2006 so before this you are in the lower tax band of I think £260 a year and after this it is £460 a year, my Sti was registered 10 march 2006 so is in the lower tax band but only by 12 days there was no way I was paying £460 a year for the same model car so made sure when I was looking for one that it was registered early 2006 | |

| WRX / STI iv got the WRX hawkeye and love it !! 2 weeks time it will have more power than a std STI and iv loved spending every penny on upgrades, choice is yours but only a few things diff from an STI, al down to you and what you want to spend, yes STI is a better car with more bits, but it is the same car and engine. all scoobys are great. enjoy whatever you get, WRX is slightly cheaper to insure to and if ya get one in cheap tax band | |
