Engine bay is looking nice but are you sure that's the only way to fit the bonnet dampers as other scoobs I've seen with them fitted the bonnet it still only about the same angle as when using the standard bonnet stay when open.

I was only looking at Mario's today at Andy Kindons and his bonnet only goes up about as far as using the original bonnet stay.

I think they fasten to the lower bonnet bolts I know most the classics do

Bottom one would put it even higher
There is only one setting on my car as to where to fasten them to the wings and that is where they are attached to, there are two on the bracket on the bonnet and the lowest one would be even higher than the top one I have them set on - on looking at the pictures on the ad (ebay) their cars have three settings whereas mine only has the one.
I have emailed the seller with a pic to show him how they sit - and waiting for him to come back to me.

Are the ones you bought specific for the impreza or are they just universal ones, I know the ones Mario has on his are specific impreza fitment.

specific to the impreza .. I got them for xmas for him, the person I bought them off is looking into it .. I thought maybe the wrong ones had been sent but the instructions that were inside the box were for the impreza .. so unless they were put in the wrong box at the factory ????
