PostSubject: Newbie looking for scewbie.   Sat 12 Jan - 15:12

Hi all, I'm mick from Newcastle,

I've been looking for a classic STI for about 7 weeks now with no luck lol, been looking on scoobynet, pistonheads, autotrader and I've even been checking eBay and gumtree although I wouldn't rally want to buy one from either of them.

Someone on scoobynet pointed me in this direction this morning so here I am, I've now started thinking about a bugeye WRX and tuning up to around 300 but I think it may still feel too refined for what I'm after.

I'm looking to spend around 3k hopefully find a rust free example.

I'm off for a mooch around the forum now Very Happy

Bit better than what you were looking for then, welcome to scoob ownership, you'll have to get some pictures up of your new pride and joy.

If the 18 look awesome why do you want to change them for 17's

Tyre choice, tyre price, car seems to tramline a little and its a really hard ride.

One of the tyres on the front is much lower than the rest almost down to wear markers so I'm gonna have to get a part worn at the weekend if possible as I can't afford to replace all of the buggers!

Cheers

Mick
