Bloody typical. Turbo fitted and remapped, then it snows and just as I'm off out for a play, I find the crankshaft pulley has separated and threw the PAS belt.
Is this a common fault where the rubber damper separates?
Also, replace with a stock one from Drew, Finn etc. or splash out for a shiny lightweight one?
Another thought, if the rubber is there to act as a harmonic damper, can the lightweight pulleys cause long term damage due to vibration?
