| Just changing the intercooler on its own wont really give you anymore BHP, people normally change the intercooler for a bigger one after doing other mods like changing the turbo and injectors, if putting an Sti intercooler on it is advisable to change the scoop and under tray also to allow better air flow to the bigger intercooler, what model impreza have you got. | |

| Yes, you should be able to get some good improvements for that sort of money, you don't say if the car is already modified in any way, has it got standard exhaust, is it de-catted is it still running standard turbo, has it had a remap already, if I was you I would have a word with Andy Kindon he's on here and has a garage at chest-le-street he knows what's he's talking about, just a remap will make a difference if it has not been done already, then the next option would be bigger turbo and injectors plus a sti intercooler and a remap, a decatted exhaust added onto this will also make a difference but it all depends how far you want to go | |

| That's Gipa's garage also off here, he knows what he's talking about so will give good advice, user name on here is Gipa, changing the turbo intercooler and injectors to ones from an sti and then getting a remap should take you towards the 350bhp mark or you could go for a different turbo depending on what you want. | |

| That's the last mods that I made to my bugeye before I sold it a bought my current hawk sti, my bugeye was running 295bhp then I put sti intercooler, injectors and turbo on it, it then made 350bhp it certainly felt better, but then not long after I spotted the hawk sti for sale that I have now and could not resist, so traded my bugeye in for it. | |

| Just seen this post nick , yours has got a td04 so any of the bigger vf or td05 16g turbos would see around the 350 mark , either vf 30 or 35 turbo you can get for decent money or pm Jonny Gav on here he's building td05 16 for excellent price , sti 7 or 8 intercooler , set of pink sti injectors , kn n panel filter , tgv delete mod aswell while your on with it Nd Andy f remap , wich I will be organising a remap day shortly if your intrested let me know ;-) | |

| your car is on its maximum with a TD04 turbo, so your next option would be a VF or TD05 turbo to make more power.
Marietto is selling a VF43 turbo from his hawkeye for £380 its in the for sale section, these are very good turbos and will make 350bhp all day long. these turbos will make nearly 400bhp with the right mods.
But I wouldnt put that much through a 5 speed gearbox.
The mods that Gipa has said above are a must if you want to run that sort of power.
