hi peeps wud a 97_98 wrx sti 3 plug ecu go into my 97 classic turbo 2000 witch is a 3 plug ecu and cud it be mapped

Yes will fit and can be mapped wiv an esl board I think

They are NOT plug and play, you also need to change injectors from 380cc to 440cc, fit the larger orange label MAF from the STI and do some wiring for the immobiliser and cam and crank sensor.
you also need to fit JDM clock if you want to go over 112mph not to mention fitting a VF28/29/30/35.

You also need to fit an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and raise the fuel pressure to compensate for the lean running of the STI ECU, you will then need to run it exclusively on v-power with an octane booster to prevent detonation from destroying your engine.

in my opinion you would be better off finding an APEXI POWER FC ecu and get it mapped.

Just replied to your txt maca it will fit but you have to change wiring over to jap spec , it would be pointless tho if your getting it mapped cos you will just be able to get yours esl'd save you messing about with pin outs

As trev says Andy f fits the esl boards and maps have a look on andys website

He is coming down end of next month for a mapping day aswell one space left ;-)

I and it wont run unless ya get all above as Jonny says apexi but they are like hens teeth

As Andy says :-o plus £300-350 mapping = £800-850 for another 100 ish ya get a brand new warranted ecu
