Can you get to the front lambda sensor with a ring spanner or do you need one of them stupid lambda removal sockets. Am goin to attempt to do it tomorrow and don't have a clue what tools I'm going to need to buy to do it..

I did it with a 22mm open ended spanner. could just get it on and get a littel bit of movement but didn't take long before I could get it with my fingers.

use a ring spanner mate, cos if you round it off with a open end spanner it turns into a nitemare job...
if you unplug it (plug is near boost control solenoid) under cover just up from air filter, then theres a few clips holding wire in place onto cylinder head, a good pull helps these loosen lol
then u can drop lamba sensor wire underneath, then you can get your ring spanner over plug/wire and onto lamba sensor

ya can slide a 22 ring spanner over the connector and down the wire to the nut and undo it that way mate

Tried to do this today and give up after 35 mins of pulling on a spanner that won't budge. Think this lambda sensor has wealded itself in

Ya can get a hacksaw blade in and then you can get a scoket on it make sure its a hex socket not multi spline or it will round lol

You should have fired the car up mate and got it upto temperature the heat probably would have done the job to remove it

I know it does bud. Am going to attempt to fit my coilovers tomorrow so I will buy a proper lambda sensor socket and put the big ass power bar on it when the exhaust is hot
