| I hit 156mph when I had my integra type r, boarderline 170mph in an mr2 turbo, 186mph on the a69 which ill never forget due to some daft mare pulling straight out in front of me, ive never gripped anything so hard as the brake lever that day! lol that was on my gsxr 1000 so I suppose it doesn't count lol | |

| 179 on my r1 and just short of 160 in an old sti prodrive racing with a focus rs. It was still pulling as well but ran out of road. All done on private roads though of course. My mate reckons his bussa will show 185 on the clock in 4th gear, not sure if there 5 or 6 speed, but must do over the 200 if roads allows it.

| 180+ in my TVR Cerbera and it was still pulling strong. That was after leaving a tuned Audi S3 for dead when he was trying to race me. I use race in loosest possible sense as he was being clever on the bends as I had the back end stepping out and he was managing to keep up, poor little fooker disappeared to a tiny red spec withing 10 seconds as soon as I was able to unleash some power fook me that car could really shift and not just compared to cars either, I had a few days of playing with bikes on the road to Heartside. Later speaking to the rider who commented that the car was quicker than they anticipated. I'm sure the engine was a blueprinted Red Rose engine, circa 400bhp in a car that weighed a-decent-sized-shit more than a tonne. I really miss that car, but I'd take a Scoob over it any day if I could only have one good car. If I could have two, it would be a Scoob and a Cerb. There's no bigger sense of occasion than in a TVR. But this is what happens when you don't respect them Oh and the reason I don't know exactly how fast I was going is because at that sort of speed, I found it a little more important to watch where the car was pointing and not the clocks. | |

| There's being gears up and being able to do it. The Impreza isn't exactly streamlined I can't remember exactly how it works, but you need something like 3 to 4 times the power to get to 200 than you need to get to 150 due to the various drag exerted on the car. Aero, rolling etc. So if you need 200bhp to get to 150mph, you would need in region of 600 - 800bhp to hit 200mph. | |
