what is it with subaru owners on swapz

Been looking for a subaru classic for some time now there's a few nice ones on swapz but they think there UK turbo with a few mods on is worth £3000 i could get a nice sti and still have some money for more mods

Some ppl think that adding mods increases the value of the car massively lol

if i knew that when i was selling mine ( one in my pic ) i should of put it up for £4500 it had a lot more mods than most of them on swapz.
there is some on there that are worth more than they want

I know what you are saying bud I look all the time but have noticed the prices of scoobs are going up slowly so good news for all of us lol

Think you're dicing with death really on there .. I'd be surprised if there were any listed without problems - which is why they want rid of them.

They do think the MODS boost the value and in reality they don't .. which is why alot of people strip them before selling now as you never get your money back on mods unless you find someone so desperate for your car/creation they'll pay over the odds - but those people are as rare as hens teeth also

i don't mind a car with a couple of problems as long as the engine ISN'T ready to go pop

i dont use swapz any more i use gumtree and search swap... you get better people and cars at realistic prices

I met a lad in catterick who had a BMW 318 se2, he was keen on a swap for my scooby sport. Met up with him, sounded a sound enough lad. I done a text check there and then after being a bit iffy about a different shade of paint on drivers side. He told me it hadn't been in a bump, what a liar mate coz the text check come back as a Cat D. The look on his face said it all. Waste of 25 mile.

Went to see a Bugeye off swapz and there was more bits in the boot off the car than on it lol advertised as MINT !
