clutch pedal clicking help please

i've just got a 1996 subaru impreza WRX very nice clean car but like all cars it has a few daft problems

when putting the p/s window down or up from the d/s it is the wrong way round ( switch down window goes up switch up window goes down )
p/s mirror electric when you use the switch up or down it goes side to side and switch side to side it goes up and down

the big one for me when i release the clutch pedal it makes a click sound and doesn't come right up its only about 1" from the top.
the clicking noise is doing my head in

anybody had the same thing before? any info or help would be great like normal

havent had chance to clean it yet with this flipping snow but when its cleaned i'll get some pic's up

anybody got any ideas

is the click inside the cabin ?. or the otherside of the bulkhead ?.

For starters i'd get in the footwell & work the pedel, i'm sure the offending click will show its self. I've had a loose clutch pedal mounting bolt before, the simptoms were similar to yours.. Or it could be catching on some of that botched wiring for you windows or mirrors.

My impreza sport had the same problem with the clutch, turned out to be the bolt and locking stud that holds the pedal in place. And the switches sound like they been wired back to front mate. Pop them off and have a look.
