Do you need anything special to trim down mud flaps my front two are rubbing like mad on the road

Presume your talking about silicon mud flaps? If so, a sharp knife and a steady hand.

Do you not have any adjustment holes on the brackets mate? When I had them on my last one there were two settings one right on the Tarmac and another about 4-5 inches up
