Bad mistake I think

Well iv started letting the wife drive my pride n joy we went to Durham tonight and I had afew pints. So once again I let her drive home we get in the car she starts it up then stalls it (damm) then she pulls out the car park and whacks her boot down engine is freezing at this point so I told her to calm down or she will cause damage to turbo ect ect. Her reply I didn't want to get stuck at the traffic lights. My reply well tough this is my car not your galaxy,lets say went down like a brick in water anyway we get towards the shell garage at bowburn engine nice and warm I say ok now u can get your boot down she just stayed at 60mph I say your going right at the roundabout so she pulls in the left lane , I say you wanna be in the right lane our going right then pulls in proper lane in front of a van I crapped myself so she chugs alone I say your going left towards ferryhill she slowed down to 15mph 2nd gear van up her backend anyway let's say I was fumming at this point I said you wanna do 100mph when engines freezing then when it's safe and engine is hot you wanna do 20mph she would go mad if I said or darling I need hundreds of pounds for a new turbo

My other half drives mine all the time, but she never puts her foot down anyway so I'm ok, why go left towards ferryhill when you get to thinford, straight ahead and up the spenny bypass is much quicker to get to Bishop

Big mistake mate, it's not worth a few pints

We turn towards ferryhill because we where going there mate we turned left just after the metal bridge I'm off to Spain in 4 weeks think I will take my scoobie keys with me so she can't drive my baby lets just I'm in the bad books big style now for telling her off

Now I didn't say that she's a bad driver or woman are bad drivers I said my missis only drivin my car afew times not used to driving a car with a turbo whacking her foot down when engine is stone cold so I told her to ease off

No she doesn't read it Hun age isn't interested in forums ect ect or any hobby I like

Andy your braver than me then again my misses don't drive and admitted she not got the balls to drive my car lol

Let that be a valueable lesson mate.on the plus side its not bumped or blown something.

Thankfully my mrs is a good driver but she hated the Blob with a passion so very rarely got behind the wheel...........however she likes the Hatch.......but thankfully still prefers the CRV coz she likes a "high car" and not one that "scrapes your arse along the road like a go cart"
