I'm still waiting for info on my car haven't a clue if and who has mapped it before its doing my head in

Have you got any receipts with previous osners names/address on or where you bought it if it were a garage - they may be able to contact the previous owner on your behalf.

We got the info from the garage who sold it to the lad we bought it off .. not all garages will give you the info but that one did and we wrote to each one, with a stamped addressed envelope. They both replied and although one said he hadn't done anything to it, the lad who had sent his phone number and was only too happy to talk about it and were able to find out it was Andy Forrest who had mapped ours .. certainly worth a try.

One thing though .. maybe use a friends address where the car isn't kept, just in case the person isn't a very savoury character and there are spare keys knocking about

Remember though finding out will give you peace of mind but it won't mean you'll only need a tweak - the mapper will charge full price because the car has changed hands - totally different to you having paid for the map and then had tweaks

Ah right iv got a folder came with the car it states a company called power station mapped it and done most of the upgrades it's down south some where I rang power station they asked for the reg number they put it in there comp and bang nothing they have no record of ever working on this car a lad called Michael box had it before me and a lad called bugeye tony but can't get in touch with any of them

Bugeye Tony is on TTS .. can't remember his real name but Paul will probably know when he comes in from work .. if someone else doesn't come up with it before that
