am still crying.....as the ones who are friends with me on facebook will have noticed i had the night off and went to Carolyn's best friends 30th (an 80s themed party @ Chase on the quayside) we left around 11:20 as she was tired and she wanted some supper so we went to the galley on the quayside (where we used to go back in the day..) pizza and chips!! on the way home i got her to stop at the esso garage near the Mariott @ Gosforth near our house so i could fill up for tomorrow's run out to south shields!! it was full of police cars and vans!!
(well 2 cars and a van!!) i went in to pay for the petrol and when i came out (a bit wobbily after the party hic!!) they were all watching me get in the car (passenger side of course!!) and we drove off...my clutch is not far off going and the wife does not drive it much so as you can imagine the revs were pretty high leaving the petrol station!!
you can probs guess whats coming!! anyway pulled over a few hundred meters away from the petrol station an officer approaches the car (i was gonna get out but the wife said sit still so i did) she wound the window down....
officer "may i ask where your going?"
wife "home to ******** whats wrong officer?"
officer "is this your car?"
wife "no its my husbands!"
me (drunk) "alreeeet!!!"
officer "are you covered ect...to drive this car??"
wife "yes!"
officer "blah blah"
wife "here look i am 8 months pregnant and am bursting for the toilet now either give me you hat so i can pee in it or let me get home!!"
officer "have a good night!!"
i nearly peed myself!!
