| Yes, it was a good trip out. The mrs thoroughly enjoyed it as well. It was good crack, no stupid speeds just making "progress" here & there! Nice roads other than those loose chippings, oh and the chippy was canny tasty as well. Shame the old guy serving was on day release though! Funny as owt when marios lad said "doesn't look like he's getting job satisfaction does it!" Dead funny coming from a young lad I'll tell ya!
Just need to do it again, & well done to group leader Lee, did a fantacker job. Regards Rick

| Haha I was devastated. Daz is mocking me for pointing at everything but I'm saying it came in handy showing you which way you needed to go to get home lol.
That road was bad Rick I just turned my music up to drown out the sound of stones bouncing off my car lol

| ...well I've just woken up from my Disco nap after all that lovely sea air - great little run, some nice little twisties, some geet hard seagulls trying to divebomb us for the chips and last but not least the senile old gentleman they let serve in the chippy for the day. Big queue of people and he say's to Rick, "so ya want curry then?" and is just about to smother his and his young lady's food in curry. "No hold on there" Rick says, "I didn't ask for curry....that was close".....about 5 minutes later after having asked me for the 6th time what my order was the old boy shouts out, "ya see I knew someone had asked me for curry"........yes mate, the chances are in a chippy where you are working someone is going to ask you for curry.........I looked along the queue at the rest of the childish boys (Mark, Lee & co) who were sniggering..... just like me And well done squadron leader Braddaz (Lee) - you did an awesome job, there and back so we'll forgive you (an Mark) overtaking that wee pensioner on the way |

| Can I just add for the record, although I ate all of my "widows joy & chips" I didn't really enjoy it either & when I said, "they were lovely" I obviously didn't mean it as I'm not used to eating such crap, and that bit when I finished the mrs' nuggets & chips obviously never really happened! | I keep chuckling about pulling up at the final meeting place for everyone to look at each other. ..... who actually knows how to get to Seahouses?? Weather was cracking, roads were mint and the crack was class. Had a mint day. Bloke in the chippy was first class like.... we ordered and he turned his back to sort the fish and chips out without letting the missus finish her sentence. She nudged me and says tell him I want batter on.... fook that he'll lose the plot!! | |
