Subject: Power steering pump???? Sun 5 May - 21:41
Hi all driving along to day and sounded like my car was wering and could feel it through the steering wheel. Checked power steering fluid seemed fine. So would that be the pump away?

check that your belt is not too tight/slack by pushing on the longest part of it, it should only move about 1cm. Also if your belt is old then change it, cost about £8 from the motor factors and is a doddle to fit. Could also be the clutch release bearing, that can make a horrible whiny noise.
