| Called in at Andy kindons HQ and there was a test fit of a alloy to see how they sit in the rear arches.........and all looks perfect....not to far in....not to far out just right IMO.....which only means 1 thing the power can still be layed down.......it's still to go lower but all is looking good so far.... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Back at hydro HQ today I had another play with the carbon effect which am wanting to use around the car and went back to a old pattern but changed the base colours.....black base coat with a silver tinted pear over the top.....black weave and finished in a high gloss, IMO it works with the car colour been on the subtle side... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Only 1 thing for it........strip n dip ;0) | |

| Today I finally dipped something for my own car lol crazy been dipping stuff for months now and still I've done nothing for me ....the car .....nothing lol So it was manifold time Chemical stripped....etch prime....high build prime and smoothed off the best I could... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Next up the base coat, this time round a black base... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then I built up coats of pearlescent tinted with silver till happy... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Cured in the booth then dipped in a black carbon effect and back in the booth to dry..... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then I hit it with a high gloss and once baked placed it out side to show how it's going to look in natural day light.......not bad for a days work on a Sunda [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Stay tuned peeps!!!! | |
