I've used cans for wheels before and they seem to turn out ok. Never got a decent finish on bodywork with then though, it never seems to be smooth enough and you always get blebs of paint in different areas.

I did a DIY job on my blue classic that I had and it was ok-ish just couldn't get it to shine enough. I got it done properly before I sold it on though.

2FT long scrape along wing. Thought id need a new wing because it was so deep but the bodyshop did a good job on it. A respray wouldn't be worth it would it? To get a proper job it may cost £1500 ish unless you knew someone who could do you a deal.
