Does anyone know where I can lay my hands on an optima red top battery off the shelf?
My car really struggled to turn over this morning and just want to eliminate the obvious before finding out what's really wrong.

Alyn @ ASP got me one for the old Black STI, not sure if he keeps them in or orders them in though.

Why not just get a standard car battery, can get them fairly cheap with 4 year guarantee ?

Coz the Optimas are a million times better and look better in the engine bay, colour coordination etc, come on Stick, think about it

Mate, have you saw the state of my battery -
Treat yourself to a shiney battery cover, nice chrome one or even better a Hydrotek coated one.

My car barely started this morning so it was emergency operation Halfords to grab myself a Bosch Silver, I couldn't wait, the battery was fooked. So going to make a carbon cover for it.
