It will be laggy and also the sudden blast of power from a 20g will rip your gearbox to bits. Leave it alone Gary or you will regret it

I went from a 16g to a 20g. No bother, 3 gearbox later and a 6 speed on the way, its an expensive conversion ...
A 16g turbo will come onto boost earlier and spool better than a 20g.

I've tried all three in the range 16,18 & 20G, the best by far was the 18G IMO, & TBH the 20G wasn't laggy.

A 16g will cope with circa 330bhp.

It's a 460 BHP turbo so it will more than likely blow my engine to bits

SC46 is a 460 BHP rated turbo
They seem to be highly rated, but I have been told that they are older technology and the MD turbos are better....can't speak from experience on that though as have never owned an SC to compare with - but I have an MDX555 (Same turbo as MDX321T).

SC46 turbos are cheaper than MD's I'm a poor man and can't afford an MD turbo
Probably can't afford an SC46 either lol
