| Hello all! Just became the owner of a 2004 Legacy 2.0 Sports Tourer. Straight back to dealer with clutch throwout bearing failure so this will probably be the first round of questions i'll be asking! Loving the car so far (1 week for me, 1 week back at dealer!!!) and awaiting the garage report on clutch/DMF condition! First question being...Is it worth doing a clutch/Single flywheel conversion while they're in there??? If so, any info on compatible part and problems I may have in future? Seems to be some top info on this site so glad to join you all . Cheers all! | |

| CMi, if you get really stuck you've always got the UKLegacy boys to ask questions of. They are all a bit mad but very clue'd up on their big chariots.

| Cheers for all the messages.
Been on uklegacy site, and all insane but like something a bit more 'local'!!! Get the impression i'm joining an Impreza heavy crew but sure there's more out there with Legacy Ikea home delivery wheels!
Still got a great engine, and THE NOISE! Ok, so my 2.0 Tourer can sound like a WRX (ish!) but go like an XR2!!!

| Not sure yet - definitely air filter first as doing 25k miles a year so extra mpg is good, but when i'm sitting in it for 2+ hours a day, power is good too. Hate to get bored!
Looking at cosworth drop in filters - good reviews and re-usable i think.
Stainless exhaust when it eventually dies. Not sure i can do much with the 2.0 n/a 138BHP lump to be honest!?
