| Anybody on here using it, what do you think any problems with it, currently I'm with AOL and have been for years, but BT got some good deals going at the minute so am thinking of going with them. | |

| Thats decent Daz. Ive just upgraded to Sky Fibre Broadband which should be running about 44mb, but I dont know how to check it. Only been on for a little over a week, but main thing for me is signal strength is massive improvement. We running anything up to 6 devices at once on my home wifi and my old one dropped out all the time. | |

| sky have 2 products 40/10 & 80/20 if your getting 44 you must be on the 80mb i would not bother paying the extra just to gain 4mb,did they send you the white hub keith? | |

| Nope sorry, its the 40/10 package Ive got as they said my area is "capped" at 44mb, so seemed no point in paying the extra for something I couldnt get. Previous b/band was very poor as I'm effectively the last house in the little estate I live on and was only puling something like 4mb, so this should be lightening by comparison, but maybe I'm expecting too much. Page on the ipad seem to load up just about as fast, but thats maybe an ipad limitation. I'll have to randomy download an App or some Music and see how I get on. But at least its stable. | |

| go on www.speedtest.net and hit start (download the app for iPad's) should look like this you should see speeds around 36/38 up and about 8 down all depends how close you are to the cabinet (green box) and if your broadband has been fitted correctly (had to run a new cable through Mario's garden to get his working right!!) | |

| Yes - if it wasn't for Daz my BT fibre would still be dropping out at about 7mb - now get 44mb constant and I am 1200 metres from the fibre cabinet. You can also blame him for me joining NESF as it was him who saw my scoob when he was here and recommended I join - his fault entirely |

Would it be much quicker upgrading to Sky Fibre?
Postcode is NE159PX and any advice would be appreciated... | |
