| Hi all
I have a 2004 blob sti and the front cross member has rusted right through annd snapped off where the anti roll bar attaches to it so the anti roll bar and bush are just hanging below the snapped rusted mount area.
Does any body know if it could be weld repaired or a new cross member,if so is any one breaking a sti and recommend a fitter.

| It's only the cars with steel bottom arms that were recalled for corrosion issues, the STI has aluminium bottom arms so wasn't recalled, as far as I am aware there are no recalls for front crossmember as you describe.
Oh and welcome to NESF, Byers is breaking a 2004 STI so he should have the part you require.

That's what I was thinking, or lg autos though tunnel. I would do it myself but the rack and pinion is awkward. will have to do some ringing after crimbo.. | |
