| Subject: road tax??? Wed 26 Feb - 3:32 | |
| Just checked my road tax renwel price and once again its gone up its now 280 for 12months (sorry to the hawk hatch and shark owners ) what I want to know is why does road tax go up all the time as its not filling the fookin pot holes. Does anyone have a clue why | |

| Because your tax doesn't go towards road repairs it's your Council tax what pays for that mate I think the car tax just goes back to the government to do what they want with it lol | |

Why are you saying sorry to Hawk owners, my Hawk STI is only £280 for 12 months, how can yours be that high when it's a none turbo | |

| Mines also 280 but it's a turbo.. It don't really make sense to me.. Plus because I pay that much I use no car lanes now and then haha | |

| Because road tax is calculated off your cars C02 emissions. | |

| Early hawks pay the £280 per year, whereas the later hawks pay the £490 per year, same emissions, same car, just different amounts???? Same old same old governments penalising the easy targets. | |

| I just thought it in lew of all the speeding fines I should have got!! It goes on emmissions so a non turbo must be same as turbo, I pay 280 | |
