Mercedes have recently brought out their hot version of the A class, the A45 AMG 2 litre turbo with 4WD and 360BHP but the car tax is only £175 for 12 months  Shocked 

Where as the newer impreza is £490 for 12 months and gas less BHP, so if Mercedes can do it with lower emissions why can't Subaru.

Maybe if they charged £38k for an sti, then they probably could invest more in decreasing the CO2 figures?

Wasn't a new STI hatch around the 35k mark with options so not that much difference

Didn't know they were that much, thought they were more like £28k, not that I could afford either like!
Must say tho, this is the first ever Merc that I liked. If I was in that kind of league, always thought I'd've gone for an M3, convertible, driving (hooning!) round Mull taking pics of eagles whist still in the car....dream over!
