| The trouble & strife is wanting a new camera.
We already have a point & click Sony cybershot DSC??? That we've had for about 8 years.
She's wanting a DSLR or summit, as you can tell I haven't got a clue what I'm talking about!!
Any of you photographers out there point me in the right direction?
Cheers. | |

| I would start off with a cheap model, maybe even 2nd hand. See if the dslr is for you as opposed to a point & shoot camera. You can then upgrade your camera & use the same lenses as they're interchangeable. I've had the same lenses for years but have upgraded my camera body 5 times. | I have a Nikon d3200 amd very pleased with that has auto function which can be just a point and shoot untill you get used to all the hundreds of gadgets I paid £549 as soon as it came out but now down to £379 Once you decide on camera shop around on prices onninternet Good camera and a Step up from the d3100 which was highly rated In fact I haven't even tried many of the settings Recomend get the dummies guide to d3200 if you get it I got it in the red although black is the best seller Nikon and cannon are the main ones to choose from Go to a good camera shop amd try them then buy in the Internet Cannot tend TI be a bit heavy and clumsy if your misses has small hands D5100 os the next step up heavy body and d7100 os for commercial use If there is any d3100 you might get one at a cracker if a price I saw one in tesco at £299' fully loaded with extras amd we paid. £499 for the boys 4 years ago

| http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/Nikon/Nikon-Digital-SLRs/Nikon-D3200-%2B-18-55mm-VR-LensThat is the best Proce comparrisment site £339 at the moment Go on nikons website for the d3200 and look at what it can do in the hands of the professional I got a bag as well on amazons £31 against £59 on the shop and various other things a lot cheaper Bridge camera alternative and a lot lighter to carry but I don't rate them much better then a iPhone 5 camera which is an amazing bit of kit | |
