Subject: turbo rebuild Wed 28 May - 13:36
Yesterday I relised there was a pool of oil under me car and when I took the top mount off, there is oil coming out of the turbo and me pal come and had a look at it and said the seals would of needed doing and wondering if anyone on here can rebuild them or he said that it could be the oil return pipe blocked ? If its the turbo needing rebuilt how much would people charge ?

There was only 1 lad on here (jonnygav) who was building/rebuilding turbos but he's not doing it anymore. What turbo is it?

A vf turbo or tdo5, cant remember what the kid said who a got the car off again

If your willing to give it a try yourself, Re-build kits can be bought for pennies,

Drop jonnygav a pm he might have some spare parts you can buy off him, sure he has spares for both
Or go with the kits maxboost has put up either way its happy days
