| Thanks mate, still not a patch on Marietto's Terminator like What are the signs to watch out for on my 2.5 going bang? A flameball of a wreck and molten metal rolling down the A689 with me in it? Thinking maybe just keeping an eye on engine temps and listening out for any knocks or metallic ringing... lol | |

| I ran 370bhp/ft.lbs with the standard pistons and they were fine when removed, make sure you use v-power if it's been mapped for that and avoid over revving the engine, also avoid sustained high speed at high revs.
When you do change your pistons also look at doing the 2.0 sump and pick up conversion as the2.5 one is known to crack and take out the engine, a set of ARP head studs won't go a miss too as head gasket failure is also common with the 2.5 engine.
Once you have that little lot done it will be bullet proof for up to 450hp. | |

| Very nice mate. I'm sure the 2.5 engines are ok mate its just unlucky that most have gone. Look after it and drive it properly it should be fine. Just keep up on services every 4k or maybe less. | |
