Discs and pads? Empty
PostSubject: Discs and pads?   Discs and pads? EmptyWed 18 Jun - 13:29

Just got some new calipers for the WRX  Very Happy  Apparently the fronts will bolt straight on, but i need to buy the older 5x100 sti brake discs, any advice on what brand? i don't want to pay for bell/rotor set up just some good disc/pad combo.
I will also need the same brand for the rear setup but these are 2008 onwards sti fitment and will need to be redrilled to 5x100!
I would like the back and front brands to match as i think mixing brands might give uneven braking, or am i wrong Question

Brembo discs are fairly decent. Good pads are where it's at. As for 2 different brands, all depends what you're doing?
I have Carbonne Lorraine RC5+ on the front with Pagid bargain basements on the back. Very good for everyday driving, but I'll be changing them to suit before next track day.
