Decontaminated the cars wheels today with Valetpro Bilberry Wheel Cleaner, then some Tardis tar remover followed by IronX to remove all the iron deposits and contamination from the brake dust. Good wash and rinse, then a wipe down with some IPA. Finally applied a coat of Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour. I have to say this stuff, although expensive at about £23 for a 15ml bottle, is amazing gear. The coating lasts for a year at least and protects against brake dust bonding and makes the wheels easier to clean. So £23 isn't that much in reality. A bottle is enough to coat all 4 wheels inside & out.
They look absolutely awesome, looks like you've used some good stuff to get them like that
Thanks everyone........It's all about the preparation mate. The decontamination and cleaning process before applying the C5 is the most important part. Applying the C5 was a piece of piss.
