Nearly NBO time :D got your car clean yet?

Nearly time, just need to get the car clean and waxed on sat
Weather is looking great for it too.......hopfully!
Started on the engine bay clean yesterday, had most of it apart......think I'm getting OCD lol

Mines getting razzle dazzled tomorrow morning then put away till sunday   

I washed and polished mine on Tuesday wheels off and all washed and polished I will give car another clean on saturday

I've just got some go faster stripes down the back window.... Shame yous won't see them in the flesh

Been doin mine all week ha two coats of polish tonight then wax tomorow and saterday

Balders has been round today and done mine (cheers mate) the cover is now on and ready for the NBO, watch the fooka piss down all day

I did do the roof that's what sills are for to stand on then the sills get a wipe over cos I can reach them lol

Doing ours saturday along with stevejones scoob.did interior the other night.so hope the weather stays nice for all the effort people are putting in

Rob ostle I think and well deserved its credit to him. and kgt was a runner up I think.ours is nowt special.well it is to us.just entering for charity and for the hatches as still not that many of us

Got paint from halfords which was cream not white. Primer was a closer match. Got some paint from Wardys and been grafting til 6pm and the weather aint been hot enough. Needs wet&dry then painting again. Followed by skirts.
Hope there is a "Bad paint job category"

Got a lot to do fri and sat

1. Fit new splitter
2. Fit spats
3. Fit colour coded wing mirrors as I've put new doors on
4. Rebuild front calipers
5. Take tyres of black sti wheels n put on to gold sti wheels
6. Clean car inside and out
7. Machine polish
8. Wax car with some expansive stuff
9. Hope the fook it don't rain on sat night

Spent most my time fitting sound system

Iv got polisher from machine mart

got all G1 stuff from halfords cost my £90 but I'm no good at polishing

Got day off work tomorrow so got 2 days to go to work on the Type R. Got some amazing Migliore Strata ceramic coating for the paintwork but will need to wash, claybar, wash, dry before I apply it. Lasts for a year or so. Then I am going to remove all my wheels and do a full clean & decontamination with Bilberry, Iron X, hand dry and then coat them in Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour nanocoat sealant - lasts for about a year as well. Then a bit of Meguiars Endurance tyre gel. Then an application of Gtechniq C1 permanent trim restorer on all the exposed plastics. Then on to an engine bay clean, interior valet and we should be good to rock & roll  

I've got spoiler, boot and rear bumper left to clay and wax, will finish it off tomo nite, was out cleaning car till 10pm last nite, I have some weird brown stain on wheels which won't wash off but will scrape off with ur nail!!

Mate do you wash clay bar then wash again befor polishing
