| Hi all,
I've just moved back to the motherland with my 05 silver blobeye wrx after many years in the wilderness. I'm not much of an event and meet kind of person, but I am a big waver and flasher (of headlights...), so I'm sure I will spot some of you when out and about on my 15mpg errands.
Can anyone recommend a decent independent for servicing etc in or around Gateshead?

| Haha, it's very standard, I'm just an ageing hooligan trying to acclimatise to the empty country roads of North Durham after 5 years of pootling around London at 20 mph...
Chester is actually a lot closer to me as I'm on the Durham side of Gateshead - has anyone got a number for Andy Kindon / AK Automotive? It's not the MX5 specialist in Rowlands Gill is it?

| No it's not that AK automotive, the one in Rowlands Gill is the one we use for alignment set up etc.
