| There is a metal coolant pipe running from heater matrix, over the block and down to the water pump. Question is, can this pipe be replaced with a silicone 1? | |

| I want to replace the water pump hoses but cant access them from underneath as cant reach the hose clips. Thought I could disconnect the pipe from heater matrix, and run a hose straight thru to the water pump. Will save taking RH cam cover off, followed by the timing belt just to get to a 3" long pipe to replace it. | |

| If your on about the two U shaped pipes that come off the water pump, you can get to them with a pair of 6" long nose pliers bud, had to do the old Foz twice when they perished & split on separate occasions. | |
