PostSubject: Rear calipers finally here!   Mon 4 Aug - 19:56

As some of you know i am doing a Brembo conversion on my WRX hatch (Possibly the first one to do it in the UK?). Anyway i got the front calipers weeks ago but struggled to get the rear ones and when i did they were more expensive than the fronts and took 2 weeks to come from Leeds?  Suspect

Anyway the fronts came from a breakers nicely packaged in bubble wrap and also were very clean, see below!

The rears came with an interesting packaging ( placed in a bag of dirt )   Brickwall  Brickwall

They were totally scratched and chipped and look like shite!

These were quite difficult to find and i really want to get the the brakes fitted to the car while im home so i carnt be arsed arguing with the breakers yard ( rally4ever ) on ebay. So i have give them a QUICK rub down and a coat of paint as i want to fit them tomorrow so havent got time to do it properly, anyway they look OK now but i wont be dealing with rally4ever again.

I can't believe they came wrapped in a bag
of dirt, wtf? That's really shabby.
They came out really good in the end though, nice paint job!
