Subject: Forge recirculating dump valve help Thu 28 Aug - 15:09
When i had my car mapped by Bob it was making some mad noises as it started pulling boost he put it down to the Dump valve spring being weak gave me a telling off lol.. and told me i should've used the red spring that came with it and told me to change it once i got home. Any way i did and its not as bad now but its still there i looked in the box for the dump valve and also found these discs shown below! has anybody used them? i am thinking of sticking them in also to stiffen it up further and was wondering if anybody else has?

I fail to see how the dv opens under boost as the top half has the same relative air pressure as the bottom then the added spring pressure.....
Try both springs

I have put one of the spacers in with the spring and now its not doing it, but pulling low boost i now have the chatter noise at gear change which i did not before, when i give it a bit more the dump valve opens on the gear change. So i think its sorted now?
