Got oil dripping onto my up pipe pretty sure it's only under load and it causing it to smoke.

Any ideas what could have failed

Probably be a gasket. Rocker gasket maybe.

Just had a look there appears to be the oil return from the turbo

oil feed to the turbo even, import car parts don't seem to have the part though they re gonna give me a ring back in a bit.

i don't really fancy waiting for one to be delivered but needs must i suppose bounce

It cud b the oil feed on the top of the turbo or cud b as u say the oil return from the turbo! I'd get under the car while it's running with a light and have alook! There's a small rubber pipe which joins 2 metal pipes 1 on the turbo and 1 engine chances are it will b coming from there! Pig of a job to do if it is

I have a leaking water pipe coming from round that area, between turbo and gearbox. Looks like a rite fook on.

it is the metal turbo oil feed pipe thats leaking just ordered a braided one for next day delivery, turbo gasket doesnt look too clever either so gonna put a new one of those on too, il have help this time Smile

i replaced the up pipe the other week on my own what a pain in the plumbs that was
